Kolkata Panorama [5] – Frozen
Names,
Faces,
Voices
Live happily
In those snapshots
Fondly kept
On showcases
or hung from the wall
As decors;
Seldom
Looked at,
Talked about and
Admired;
Faces,
Laughters,
Tears
Will not come out of the frame
Ever again;
Memories will.

The image! That is just fantastic! The memories will indeed live long, and so too, will the joy that is evident. The image, light hearted plus the thoughtful words make for a compelling combination.
@Tashtoo Tashtoo NWCreativeUnion Thank you so much. It took me some time to find a photo that will go with my poetry and I could not have found a better one. It is taken by a friend of mine, who is a brilliant photographer.
What a wonderful poem…how true we use photos as decorations and forget them…don’t take time to visit the memories
